Shimmy Shakti Style of Yoga
All of our yoga instructors teach Astanga Yoga. This style originates from the philosophy of the eight-limbed path.
Our classes focus heavily on smooth deep breathing, proper alignment and form, flowing postures, and smooth transitions.
We believe in reaching and maintaining the body’s edge(not too little, not too much). This attitude provides unlimited personal possibility in a safe and respectful atmosphere. This allows us to cultivate a compassionate relationship with our body.
Each instructor offers their own unique understanding and approach to this style of yoga.
