“Make your Drum Solo Spectacular!”
In this workshop the tools of the trade will be laid out for all to learn. Not just a choreography class, here students will be given a real understanding of layering to the different percussive elements, understanding dynamic, improvising with the drummer, when to hold back and when to use those knock out moves.
Issam demonstrates different types of rhythms as well as what to expect from an experienced drummer...Zoe shows dramatic movements suited for those specific rhythms...Expect the unexpected!

Kami Liddle 2:00-5:00 pm
“Funky Combos”
This fun workshop plays with changing the intensity and timing of movements while combining slow snake-like movements with fast staccato moves. A few combos will be introduced that will flow together into a short choreography.
