Yoga
All of Shimmy Shakti's Yoga Instructors are certified with a minimum of 100 hours in depth training in Anatomy & Physiology, Yoga Asanas, Yoga Philosophy, Ethics, and Modifications.

We believe in practicing to "the edge", not too little and not much. Be sure to share any injuries or physical limitations you may have so your Instructor can adapt and properly modify the postures.

Shimmy Shakti's Yoga is Ashtanga/Vinyasa inspired, focusing on smooth transitions, and fluid breathing.

Shimmy Shakti offers Gentle, Moderate, and Power Yoga Classes. Mats are provided.
Gentle Yoga- The best place to start! Learn the postures, proper alignment,
posture modification, and breathing rhythms in a comfortable gentle paced class.

Moderate Yoga- A quicker tempo flow through Sun Salutions, balance postures, twists.
You will experience a wider variety of poses.

Power Yoga- Fast tempo flow through Sun Salutations A, B, & D, balance poses, twists and occasional inversions.
You will sweat in this class. Yoga experience is recommended but not required.

4 Class Punch Card $24- perfect for once a week
8 Class Punch Card $42- perfect for twice a week
12 Class Punch Card $72- perfect for three classes a week
